1-Wire Temperature, Humidity and Light Sensor

1-Wire Temperature, Humidity and Light sensor uses one DS2438 1-Wire chip for three different measurements. This board is very similar to the 1-Wire Humidity and Temperature Sensor – even the board size is the same. The only difference is added BPW 35 S photodiode from Osram and the current sense resistor for light level measurements. The actual calibration (if needed) should be done in the software or by replacing the current sense resistor (default 240Ohm).

1-Wire Slave i2c bridge Plug

The main purpose of DS28E17 device and this board is to use i2c slave devices like sensors and low power microcontroller boards over much longer 1-Wire networks.

1-Wire Slave to i2c bridge Plug consists of DS28E17 chip, an on-board 3.3V LDO regulator and 5V to 3.3V level shifter for interfacing 3.3V DS28E17 device with 5V 1-Wire bus. There are also three optional LED indicators for debugging. The board layout is compatible with TaaraNode and JeeNode boards but can be used with any other 3.3V low power microcontroller board or i2c device.

1-Wire Plug

1-Wire Plug is 1-Wire to i2c bus converter board based on Maxim DS2482-100 Single-Channel 1-Wire Bus Master chip. It is used to off-load the time critical 1-Wire waveform generation from the MCU to the 1-Wire Bus Master to achieve error free operation with longer 1-Wire bus situations. Board header layout is compatible with TaaraNode and JeeNode microcontroller boards. There is on-board 5V LDO regulator, strong pull-up mosfet and the level converter for 5V to 3.3V i2c interface.

1-Wire Counter

1-Wire counter is a small board for DS2423P 1-Wire RAM with counter chip. This device is unfortunately no longer in production but is still available from HobbyBoards. Only one counter input has broken out and there is a place for pull-up or pull-down resistor. This board is designed for electric energy consumption measurement with optical digital pulse sensors via 1-Wire network. Small board dimensions allow it to be used as a “in-line” converter connected between pulse sensor and 1-Wire cable.

1-Wire Thermocouple

1-Wire Thermocouple is a thermocouple to 1-wire converter board built around Maxim MAX31850 cold-junction compensated 1-Wire thermocouple-to-digital converter chip. The chip works only with 3.3V supply and logic level and there is on-board 3.3V LDO regulator and level converter for compatibility with 5V based 1-Wire networks. Due to the level shifting of the 1-Wire signals the only powering option is via 5V supply i.e. using parasite power is not supported.
